Diamon-Fusion®
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the best way to clean the shower glass once Diamon-Fusion® has been applied?
For best results, rinse the shower enclosure with clean water and wipe down any remaining droplets. You may also towel dry the surface or use a squeegee. Once a month, wet the shower enclosure and use a nylon body puff to go over the surface until clean and smooth. Then rinse and wipe down any remaining droplets. Please refer to DFI’s shower door care video for visual reference.
Who do I contact for questions on maintaining my shower doors?
For immediate assistance on maintaining your shower doors, we recommend watching our shower door care video or reviewing the basic manufacturer care recommendations. However, if you would like to speak to a customer service representative, please contact us by email at customerservice@diamonfusion.com or by phone at 949.388.8000.
What if water spots repeatedly dry on the glass, or I do not follow the care recommendations?
A wipe down with soapy water and a microfiber cloth should do the trick. However, if the spotting is excessive, DFI offers an Express Care Kit, which includes the necessary components to restore your glass to like-new condition.
What products should I use to clean my shower doors?
The best cleaning solution is liquid dish soap and water. Or you may also use the optional cleaning products listed below:
- Ammonia-Free Windex®
- Sprayway® Ammonia-Free Glass Cleaner
- Seventh Generation® Natural Glass & Surface Cleaner
- White household vinegar diluted with water
What products should I avoid when cleaning my shower doors?
Do not use any harsh chemical cleaners, abrasives, or steel brushes to clean and care for your glass. Using these types of products will void your warranty.
What does the warranty include?
DFI is solely responsible for the protective coating applied to your shower doors. Diamon-Fusion® is guaranteed not to haze, chip, crack, peel, or yellow for the lifetime of the glass when applied by an authorized applicator. Water spots, or etched glass caused by soaps, chemicals, or hard water is not covered. DFI offers an Express Care Kit that may be purchased to assist with these situations.
Remember to register your warranty here. Request a registration code from your Cyclone Home Systems representative if you were not provided one at time of installation.
